Campaign Story
Village of Hope Zimbabwe (VOH Zimbabwe) is a child-friendly center where vulnerable children receive holistic care. It operates under the Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe (PAOZ), the VOH organization was established in 2002. It was officially registered with the Ministry of Public Service, Labour, and Child Welfare (SW/10/92) in 2007. The main aim of the organization is to be a holistic care ministry that reaches out to orphaned and vulnerable children (OVCs), to bring lasting hope to the children so that they become positive contributing members of society. This is achieved through the following measures: spiritual guidance and support, inclusive health and nutrition services, good quality basic education for all, social protection, and supported transition from adolescence to adulthood.
Objectives
• Providing shelter and a safe environment for orphans and vulnerable children.
• Ensuring that children are provided with appropriate parental care, love and guidance.
• Providing essential requirements such as food and clothing.
• Cultivating a sense of responsibility and independence in children and equipping them with life skills, preparing them for adulthood.
• Establishing a strong Christian foundation for the children in our care.
• Facilitating children’s education and ensuring that they remain healthy.
